Directions for use of Gear Wash

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

1.
Pour both bottles of Gear Wash into the washing machine at the same time.
2.
DO NOT USE OR ADD ANY OTHER LAUNDRY DETERGENT.
DO NOT USE OR ADD ANY FABRIC SOFTENER.
DO NOT USE OR ADD BLEACH.
3.
Place all equipment and/or uniforms into washing machine. It is recommended
to wash shin, elbow, shoulder pads, jock, jersey, towels, socks and gloves in one load...DO NOT PUT HELMETS OR SKATES INTO WASHING
MACHINE.
4.
Set the washing machine on cold or warm water on the gentle or delicate cycle.
5.
Start the washing machine.
6.
The equipment and/or uniforms must remain submerged for a minimum of
10 minutes.  Note..Do Not wash for longer then 30 minutes.
7.
If any equipment, such as an elbow pad, floats on the top, submerge with a
broomstick handle.  NEVER PUT YOUR HANDS INTO THE WASHING
MACHINE.
8.
After the rinse and spin cycle, remove gear.
9.
It is best to hang dry your equipment and/or uniforms immediately after washing with Gear Wash

THIS IS A TWO PART SYSTEM. Equal volumes of Gear Wash, Part I and II must be used as a binary washing component. Use the total of four ounces per a 10lb. load; 2 ozs. of Part I and 2 ozs. of Part II. Put in Gear Wash parts 1 & 2. (See caution below.). Place gear in washer, turn on cold or warm water, use gentle or delicate cycle. It is recommended to wash shin, elbow, shoulder pads, jock, jersey, towels, socks and gloves in one load. The #1wash cycle should be no less than 10 minutes and no more than 30 minutes. After the #1wash, #2rinse and #3spin cycle are complete, remove gear from washer and let air dry. Tips: With a drying rack used in the dryer you can place gear on that for a faster dry time. After each use of your gear, it should be taken out of your bag to air dry (hanging is best). When odor returns, between 4-12 weeks depending on your use per week, wash again with Gear Wash. Then, when needed, your bag and pants can be washed separately. Do not place too much gear in wash at once.

*HELMET AND SKATES: Your helmet and skates can be washed with the Gear Wash either in the sink or the washing machine. If you decide to use your washer, fill your washer with water and the Gear Wash as directed above. Place your helmet and skates in the washer and let them soak for no more than 10 minutes. Make sure you cover your blades with skate guards to protect the edges.. After soaking, remove from washer, rinse in sink, and then air dry. Then throw in the rest of your equipment and wash according to the directions above. Please use gloves when putting your helmet and skates in the washer and then again when removing. Avoid skin contact.
